The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed similar works in the highways sector or core sector. The experience is categorized into four categories, with weights assigned to each category. The bidder should have completed projects with an estimated capital cost exceeding a specified amount for Categories 1 and 2, and payments received exceeding a specified amount for Categories 3 and 4. For requirement 2.2.2.2 (ii), one similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. The value of similar works completed is 20% of the Estimated Project Cost. A project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed, and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should have prior work experience in construction of Eligible Project(s) with a sum total of more than Rs. 3.24 Crore over the past 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date. For normal Highway projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost, which is Rs. 0.87 crore. Additionally, the bidder's Average Annual Turnover should amount to 15% of the Estimated Project Cost for the last 5 financial years, and the Net Worth should be at least 5% of the Estimated Project Cost at the close of the preceding financial year. The entity claiming experience should have held a minimum of 26% equity during the entire year for which Eligible Experience is being claimed. The capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost.
