Dismantling of existing EOT cranes 20 Ton and 10 ton capacity (with 2 ton auxiliary with each crane) at 05 bldg. (20T), 04 bldg (20T) and 06 bldg(10T) at LC-III ITR Chandipur and deposited to MES store yard complete all as specified and directed.

Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrically operated, overhead travelling (EOT) cranes of capacity 20 Ton for main hoist and 2 Ton for mini hoist, double girder, with a span 13.5 m, lifting/hook height 8 m, bay length 34.95m, floor operated conforming to IS : 3177 (latest revision), suitable for operation on 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 wires, 50 HZ supply, double girder box type, on existing steel supporting structures, with Hoisting, Cross Travel (CT) , and Long Travel (LT) with micro drives through VVVF drives with control panel, power and controlling cables, confirming to relevant ISs, controlled by pendent push button station and radio remote control switch of operation complete all as specified and directed with and including the followings: - Crane Details:- (i) Duty Class: M5 for Indoor operations. (ii) main hoist Lifting Capacity: 20 Ton. (iii) mini hoist Lifting Capacity: 02 Ton. (iv) Span:13.50 Metre. (v)Hook Height : 8.0 Meter. (vi) LT Wheel Rail Track Size: R-52. (vii) Bay Length: 34.95 Meter. (viii) Clearance between Rail Top to Enclosure Roof: As per design approved. (ix) Hoist: Hoist should be as per IS: 3938 (latest version) of Only Low Head Room Hoist shall be acceptable. Item No 2.00 Contd..// (xi).Hoisting Mechanism with specially designed crab unit for double girder, engineered for smooth jerk free, and soft start, lifting of loads. Hoist drive with micro drive through VVVF drive selected according to the class of duty, driving the rope drum, through helical gear box. The rope drum shall be made out of seamless pipes fabricated from plates tested as per ASTM/IS standards. (xii) Hooks:- Hooks shall be shank type supported on anti friction thrust bearing and the sleeve pulleys shall be made out of malleable cast iron or fabricated, conforming to IS: 3815. (xiii) Controls: The crane shall be controlled by pendant. The main electrical components shall be housed in sheet steel enclosures suitable for indoor application conveniently located for easy maintenance. Standard protection devices for overload protection and short circuit protection shall be provided. (xiv) Hoist Wire Rope : Fibre core confirming to IS: 2266. Mention Wire rope dia, No. of fall & Construction. Minimum Factors of Safety & Tensile Strength (1960N/mm² for wire rope) as per ISO:4309:1990.(Contractor to Comply &submit details for approval) (xv) Lifting Hook: Drop Forged with latch, Plain ‘C’ type, Swivelling on Thrust Bearing, Duly tested as per IS: 15560 (latest version) (Contractor to Comply & submit details for approval) (xvi) Buffers (End Stoppers): Buffers of adequate size shall be provided. (xvii) Maintenance Platform: Maintenance / service platform of load carrying capacity approximate 250 Kgs. of sufficient width shall be provided & fixed through bolted joints only. A hand railing sufficient height Contractor to provide and toe guard (Min 100mm) shall also be provided. Platform shall have anti-skid grating. (xviii) Guards: All the moving parts should be duly covered with guards as per safety norm. Proper guard / cover / tray to prevent falling of bolts from coupling etc should also be provided, wherever required. (xix) Gear Boxes:- Gear Boxes with helical gears, oil lubricated, manufactured using the modern gear cutting machines, duly heat treated to withstand the stringent load conditions and selected according to class of duty commensurate with type of application.
