Preparing the RCC surface by throughly cleaning with wire brushes or by scrappers or as per the directeion by the Engineer-In-Charge. Followed by washing for making the surface absolutely free from any foreign particles like dust, oil, grases or weeds etc. and allowed surface dry, afterthat breaking, removing and chipping of brickbats corba, tar felt or any other protective screed or layer over roof slabs etc. (upto 50 mm thickness) and applying two coats of damp proof ultra a fibre reinforced elastromeric liquid membrane, priming the surface with damp proof ultra by diluting with water @ 30-40%. After 3-4 hours applying 1st coat of undiluted coating by brush/ roller. After 6 hours, recoating the surface with 2nd coat as a final coat complete all as per direction of manufacturer.

Note (a.) The prepatory and application work pertaining to periodical services & Water Proofing shall be executed from authorized applicator duly certified by manufacturer of the Paint, Distemper, Putty etc. Before execution of work necessary approval shall be taken from Garrison Engineer with all documentary evidances. (b) Necessary scaffolding and ladder of approx. 10 m height shall be provided by the contractor in his own arrangement. Green cloth shall be provided all around the work site for any position/ height with all safety precaution (i.e Safety Jacket, Safety Shoes, Safety Masks, Safety Helmet, Safety harness, Safety Goggles etc.) Without safety precaution this work not been commenced as decided by Engineer-In-Charge/ by Garrison Engineer. No extra cost shall be paid for such precaution. Such precaution shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
(c) No payment for additional height shall be paid to the contactor.
(d) Cleaning and clearing site of paint, mats etc. are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. No completion will be issued without proper cleaning of site as per direction of Garrison Engineer or by the Engineer-In-Charge.
