The required prior work experience for the bidder is categorized into four categories: 1. Project experience on Eligible Projects in Railways sector 2. Project experience on Eligible Projects in core sector 3. Construction experience on Eligible Projects in Railways sector 4. Construction experience on Eligible Projects in core sector For each category, the experience is computed based on the weight of the following factors: - Category 1: 1 - Category 2: 0.75 - Category 3: 1 - Category 4: 0.75 The bidder should have received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s) or has undertaken construction works by itself in a PPP project, such that the sum total thereof is more than 2.5 times the Estimated Project Cost. At least one fourth of the Threshold Technical Capacity should be from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. The bidder should have undertaken at least one Eligible Project of Railway Sector of value not less than 35% of the Estimated Project Cost and have received payments for not less than 75% value of present Contract Value. The payment received for the PSI portion of the work involving over and above 25 KV (Traction Sub-station / Grid substation/SP/SSP work) shall be considered only for the eligibility. The bidder should have received payments for not less than 75% of the present contract value for 'Procurement of goods and equipment' as well as not less than 75% payment received under 'execution/installation/commissioning'. No specific detailed monetary values for similar works completed are mentioned, but the bidder should have a minimum Net Worth of 5% of the Project cost, which is Rs. 3.45 crore (Rs. three Crores forty five Lakhs only).
