The bidder should have prior work experience, with specific requirements for similar works completed. For tenders having a value up to a certain amount, no prior work experience is required. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Each non-lead member of a Joint Venture (JV) must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the tender. For the major component of the work, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum value. However, for subletting of work costing up to a certain amount, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required, but the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years.
