The bidder must have experience of works of similar nature, including excavation and transportation of coal/soil/overburden/shale/ore/minerals, etc. by mechanized means. The required prior work experience is 50% of the annualized estimated value of the work put to tender for a period of completion over 1 year, or 50% of the estimated value of the work for completion period up to one year, in any year during the last 7 years. The value of work experience should be for a period of consecutive 365 days, and the bidder should have executed a value of work that meets the minimum requirements. The value of work experience will be calculated by considering the executed value of work for the period declared, and it should be at least 50% of the annualized value or estimated value, whichever is less. In case of a Joint Venture/Consortium, the proportionate value of experience in proportion to the actual share of the Bidder in that Joint Venture/Consortium firm/partnership firm will be considered against eligibility. The experience of any one, two, or three of the individual partners of the Joint Venture/Consortium or the Joint Venture/Consortium itself may be furnished as the work experience of the Bidder. The value of executed works shall be given a simple weightage to bring them at the current price level by adding 7% for each completed year after the end date of experience till the last day of the month previous to one in which the e-Tender has been invited. The weightage of 7% every year will be on a simple rate and will not be compounded on a yearly basis for the purpose of calculating the value of each qualifying experience. The bidder needs to furnish data such as the start date of the year for which work experience of the Bidder is to be considered for eligibility, start date & end date of each qualifying experience, Work Order Number/Agreement Number of each experience, Name & address of Employer/Work Order Issuing authority of each experience, and Percentage (%) share of each experience. The bidder will be graded as 'Eligible' if the total value of all qualifying experiences meets the minimum requirements, which is 50% of the Annualised Value or estimated value, whichever is less.
