The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works within the last 7 years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - In case of completion of a single work of similar nature, the work should cost not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - In case of completion of two works of similar nature, each work should cost not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - In case of completion of three works of similar nature, each work should cost not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The cost of previous completed works shall be given a simple weightage of 5% per year to bring them at current price level. In a joint venture, the experience of individual partners can be considered, with the proportionate value of experience in proportion to the actual share of the bidder in the Joint Venture. The lead partner should have at least 50% participating share in the Joint Venture, and other partners should have at least 20% participating share.
