The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience is required. The bidder should have completed one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the bidder must have completed one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. The bidder should submit a list of works completed in the last 7 years, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract, date of award, and date of schedule completion of work. The bidder should also submit a list of works on hand, indicating description of work, contract value, and approximate value of balance work yet to be done. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work, no previous work experience required - 30% of advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 7 years for the period of completed works to be submitted.
