Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing certain similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works can be any of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of tenders for composite works, the requirements are as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The definition of similar work includes any type of civil engineering work involving construction of Tunnels/Bridges/Extension of tunnel porting/lining of tunnel/short creating/rock bolting of cutting/Canadian fencing/Rock fall barrier or major rehabilitation of bridges by jacketing/extension of barrel length/rebuilding of steel bridges by psc slab or steel superstructures etc. for Railways. Work experience certificates from a private individual are not considered, but certificates from a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years are considered, provided they are issued by an authorized person and supported by relevant documents.
