The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, no previous work experience of subcontractor is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The overall cost, including the PVC amount (if paid), of the completed work or substantially completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of technical credentials. The bidder should have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or ‘V’ whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The value of the final bill, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. If the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. In case of newly formed partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners from previous proprietary firms or dissolved previous partnership firms or split previous partnership firms shall be considered only to the extent of their share in the previous entity on the date of dissolution/split and their share in the newly formed partnership firm. The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the completion of similar works within the last 7 years, ending on the last day of the month previous to the one in which the tender is invited. In case a work is started prior to 7 years but completed in the last 7 years, the completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work - 35% value of work to be subletted for subletting of work - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work without requiring previous work experience of subcontractor.
