Work Experience Requirements
Bidders must have satisfactorily completed, based on client performance certifications, one of the following within the last seven years: three similar projects, each valued at no less than 40% of the estimated cost (Rs. 22,48,00,000); two similar projects, each valued at no less than 60% of the estimated cost (Rs. 33,72,00,000); or one similar project valued at no less than 80% of the estimated cost (Rs. 44,96,00,000). "Similar work" is defined as the construction of RCC framed buildings, with experience in electrification or ventilation work as supplementary. Joint venture work is unacceptable. The value of completed works should be adjusted to current costing levels using a simple annual rate of 7% from the completion date to the bid submission deadline.
Bid Capacity
Bidders must demonstrate a bidding capacity equal to or greater than the estimated project cost, calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = [A x N x 2] - B, where A is the maximum annual turnover in the last five years (including works in progress, adjusted to current costing), N is the project completion timeframe, and B is the value of existing commitments.
Technical Capacity
Bidders must own or be able to acquire the necessary construction equipment. A list of equipment and technical staff is required. Sufficient technical and administrative staff are also required.
