The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works with specific values and percentages. The bidder should have experience of completing a single work of similar nature costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. Alternatively, the bidder can have experience of completing two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 25% of the estimated cost put to tender. Another option is completing three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 20% of the estimated cost put to tender. The cost of previous completed work(s) shall be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them at the current price level. In the case of a Joint Venture (JV)/Consortium, the qualifying criteria parameter, such as experience of individual partners, will be added together towards fulfillment of qualification criteria related to experience.
