The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works in the last seven and current financial years. The similar works should be valued at: - Not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the work for three similar works - Not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the work for two similar works - Not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the work for one similar work Substantially completed works are defined as those that are 90% completed on the date of submission, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in executing surfacing/Resurfacing works with Paver, HMP/WMM Plant. For contracts above Rs. 10 Cr and up to Rs. 50 Cr, the bidder should have: - One Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Highway construction or bridge construction - One Diploma holder with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Highway construction or bridge construction For contracts above Rs. 50 Cr, the bidder should have: - One Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 3 years as a Project Manager - One Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience - One Diploma holder with a minimum of 10 years of experience The bidder should submit a list of works executed in the past 7 years, with details of the work, including the name of the work, brief scope, accepted contract amount, and actual date of completion. The bidder should also submit performance certificates from clients for these works, highlighting the works that prove the bidder's experience criteria. The available bid capacity (ABC) should be more than the estimated cost of the work, calculated using a specific formula that takes into account the maximum value of civil engineering works in any one year during the last 5 financial years, the number of years prescribed for completion of the work, and the value of ongoing works to be executed in that period. The ABC formula is: Available Bid Capacity = 2.5 x A x N - B, where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works, N is the number of years prescribed for completion, and B is the value of ongoing works. The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the project value. For projects valued above Rs.10 Cr and up to Rs. 50 Cr, the bidder should have: (a) One Graduate Engineer with minimum 03 years experience in Highway construction for road projects or minimum 3 years experience in bridge construction for Bridge construction projects. Or One Diploma holder with minimum 06 years experience in Highway construction for road projects or minimum 06 years experience in bridge construction for Bridge construction projects. (b) Quality Control Engineer with 3 years experience. (c) One Survey Engineer with experience in Total Station Survey and having knowledge in latest Total Station equipment and other survey instruments. For projects valued above Rs. 50 Crs, the bidder should have: (a) One Graduate Engineer with minimum 08 years experience in Highway construction for road projects or minimum 8 years experience in bridge construction for Bridge construction projects, which includes minimum 03 years experience as Project Manager. (b) One Graduate Engineer with minimum 05 years experience in Highway construction for road projects or minimum 5 years experience in bridge construction for Bridge construction projects. Or One Diploma holder with minimum 10 years experience in Highway construction for road projects or minimum 10 years experience in bridge construction for Bridge construction projects. (c) Quality Control Engineer with 03 years experience. (d) One Survey Engineer with experience in Total Station Survey and having knowledge in latest Total Station equipment and other survey instruments.
