The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The categories are: (i) Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no prior work experience is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. The minimum average annual contractual turnover is 'V/N' or 'V' whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The bidder is required to provide a list of works completed in the last three financial years, including the approximate value of the contract at the time of award and the final value of the contract. The bidder must also submit Audited Balance Sheets duly certified by the Chartered Accountant regarding contractual payments received. The mentioned values and percentages are: - 30% of advertised value for three similar works - 40% of advertised value for two similar works - 60% of advertised value for one similar work - 35% value of work to be subletted for subletting - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work without prior experience requirement.
