The bidder must have successfully completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 7 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. No previous work experience of the subcontractor is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. For works costing up to 50 lakh, the tenderers who have not carried out any work so far should upload credentials to establish their capacity to carry out the works satisfactorily, including certificates and testimonials regarding contracting experience, along with a list of works carried out in the past. Work experience certificates issued by public listed companies having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years can also be considered. The tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. Additionally, the bidder should submit a list of works on hand and details of men and machinery available, as well as their financial status supported by a bank reference and other documents.
