DISMANTLING Dismantling of existing changeover switch along with cable connections, terminations & all other accesories as instructed by engineer in charge & making good all damages in the area of dismantling & storing the dismantled items as instructed without any damage.

DIESEL GENERATOR Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 phase, 415V, 0.8pf 50hz. radiator cooled DG set of the rating 82.5 kVA Diesel standby generating set comprising of diesel engine alternator, fuel tank, starting system, battery, battery charger etc . The battery charger of auxillary DC power supply unit, 1 x 12V dry batteries with connecting leads and terminals with stationary type, high discharge perfomance, Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) sealed maintenance free, battery charger including all other accessories like interconnecting cables etc as required. The Generator set shall have a integral type acoustic enclosure as per latest CPCB II norms. Diesel engine shall be suitable for continuous operation of generator set and satisfies with relevent ISO / EN standards. Generator set with direct injection, 4 cylinder,In line 4 stroke, 1500 RPM conforming to ISO 3046/BS 5514 inclusive of fly wheel, flexible coupling, air cleaner, corrosion resistor, fan with guard, fuel pump, heavy duty STC injectors, turbocharged exhaust manifold, SS exhaust flexible connections, plate type lube oil cooler, fuel filter, lube oil filter and by-pass, electrical starting system with starter, 24V battery with regulator, instrument panel, rpm indicator, residential silencer, heavy duty air cleaner, lube oil/coolant heater with thermostatic switch, space heater for alternator, audio/visual annunciation for faults. The DG shall have the following facility like (a) External Start/ Stop using potential free contacts (b) External Engine Speed control using potentiofree contacts including droop setting (c) External DG terminal Voltage Control using potential free contacts. Also having facility of ECU for incorporating the above features. With microprocessor based controller. Silencer shall be suitably optimized to reduce noise, with sturdy base rail and 990L free standing fuel tank. Controller shall be equiped with auto, manual, start, stop, fault reset and lamp test/panel lamp switches with alpha-numeric displays and push buttons, indications for genset running, remote start, not in auto, common shutdown, common warning, manual run mode, auto mode, stop etc with sync check. For alternator - line to neutral and line to line volts indication, current, frequency, kW, kVAr, power factor kVA and for engine following indications - DC voltage, engine speed, lube oil pressure, coolant temperature, coolant low level, comprehensive FAE data, with start/stop attempts, runnings hours, kW hours, load profile, fault history, data logging etc and all data shall be recoreded. Dust and vermin proof, indoor type standard controlpanel board made out of 14 SWG thick CRCA sheet fully compartmentalised complete with hinged and earthed front doors interlocked with the earth switch, comprising of one number Thermal magnetic release MCCB rating of 125A, 4pole, 25 kA breaking capacity, thermal over load, voltage controlled O/C relay, over voltage, under voltage, negative sequence relay, voltmeter with selector switch, 3 ammeters of 0-125A range, frequency meter, kW, pf, electronic energy meter with CTs and indicating lamps with fuse and switch control etc. as complete with necessary control wiring interconnections etc including first filling of oil and diesel for commissioning & trial run of the DG set. Standard control features shall include - digital governing , voltage regulator, line to line sensing, torque matching, protective relays, over current and short circuit shutdown, over current warning, single and three phase warning, falut regulation, over and under voltage shutdown, overload warning, reverse power and reverse var shutdown, feild overload, battery voltage monitoring, protection and testing, over speed shutdown, low oil pressure warning & shutdown, high coolant temperature warning & shutdown, low coolant warning, fail to start shutdown, fil to crank, sensor failure indication, low fuel warning & shutdown, real time fault and event time stamp, data logging etc shall be provided. (Energy meter& CTs shall be tested and certificate shall be obtained from electrical inspectorate lab) Following sanction shall be obtained by the contractor, (i) Sanctions from Municipality/ Corporation, (ii) Sanction from Pollution control Board, (ii) Sanction from electrical inspectorate Outdoor acoustic enclosure with compartment for control panel for the DG set. The sound level shall be brought down to 70DB+/-5 with at a distance of 1m (as per CPCB norms the sound level shall be 75dB at a distance of 1m from the silencer at the top of the enclosure). The body shall be with 16SWG corrugated painted G.I sheet, roof No 18 SWG corrugated, painted G.I sheet, inner shall be with 22SWG Al perforated sheet with 2.5mm perforation. Body thickness shall be minium 150mm. Acoustic insulation material shall be mineral wool/ resin bounded fibre glass of grade 64 and 98kg/meter cube, having an N.R.C value of 0.96 and 1.21 (with minimum thickness of 50mm. The 48kg/meter cube shall be with black glass tissued faced 40kg/meter cube. RP tissue shall be used in between metal and insulation. Doors shall be openable on either side. Exhaust fan of sufficient capacity tube lights etc. shall be provided inside the enclosure. Sufficient fresh air intake and hot air outlet with splitters to be arranged so that the temperature inside should not increase to 5 degree above ambient temperature. (The enclosure shall bare certificate from the generator manufacturer conforming the CPCB II norms and serial numbers of the test certificate). Exhaust pipe inside the enclosure upto and including silencer shall be enclosed with Al cladding over thermal insulation. The bidders shall quote for the 82.5 kVA DG set after deducting the Buy- Back amount of of 50 kVA existing DG set in the KINFRA Corporate Office, Sasthamangalam including dismatiling of existing DG, transportation and other allied works.
