Note- (a) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for manning & operation of the water supply installations. (i) One No skilled electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /operator per shift of 08 hours(Total 02 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor Maint of water supply installation all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) One No skilled Valve operator per shift of 08 hours (Total 02 shifts per day) havining minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply pipes & valves. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply pipe line & valves all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (iii) The contractor shall pay the wages to the electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators (as applicable) through e payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (iv) It is responsible of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the connected authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (v) The contracotr shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (vi) Cost of routine maintenance spares will be measured and paid separately under respective item here in after. However cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above.

(b)Chemicals for chlorination/dozing will be measured & paid saperately under respective items here in below however cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against item No 2 above. (c) Each shift duration shall be 08 hours & duty timing will be decided by Engr- in-Charge. (d) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for daily minor maintenance like checking and rectification of any water leakage ,loose connection,cleaning and general up keep of pump room/ GLR/HTR and area around it. (e) Power supply for operating the installation will be made available by the department free of cost. (f) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (g) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the Contract period of 11 months.

(h) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates. (J) Rate is inclusive of test kits & solution for measurement of residual chlorine level (k) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (l) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied (m) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor maintenance & unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for cost of stationery, ink cartidge for printer, cotton waste ,petroleum jelly for battery terminals etc. (n) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge. (o) Cost of stationery is deemed to include in the unit rate quoted against Item No 2 of Sch 'A'. (p) The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

Supply only chemicals for chlorination / filteration of water:-

(a) Alum lump grade Ist quality

(b) Calcium based hypochlorite 65-70% chloride content granular desinfectant

Supply, installation and testing in repairs of Cast Iron sluice valve, flanged end, class-PN 1.6 as per IS-14846 heavy duty with stainless steel spindle with gun metal parts and iron hand wheel at the top, including two Nos of flanged joint and jointing materials ie rubber gasket, bolts, nuts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed for following size:-

(a) 150 mm bore size

(b) 200 mm bore size

Supply, installation and testing in repairs of Cast Iron butterfly valve, flanged end, with stainless steel-304 disc, lever operated, Nitrile/EPDM Rubber lining including two Nos of flanged joint and jointing materials i.e. rubber gasket, bolts, nuts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed for following size:-

(a) 50 mm bore size

(b) 80 mm bore size

(c) 100 mm bore size

(d) 150 mm bore size

(e) 200 mm bore size

Supply & fixing in repairs of following parts of pumps :-

(a) Gland packing for pumps

(b) Pressure guage 0-12 Kg/cm2

S&F in repairs chemical resistant, single layer, white coloured, chemical HDPE stroage tank 1000 litres capacity without cover complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only chemical resistant rubber pipe of size 15 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 25 mm stop valve of PTMT of any colour high pressure screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L dismantling electric motor of any make, 3 phase 415V, 3HP capacity, transporting to workshop, strip opening the motor, cutting and removing burnt winding and rewinding using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including varnishing, insulated paper, sleeves tape etc & drying, replacement of ball bearings & bushes of existing size & make, re-assembling the motor, bring back to commissioning at original place/position, connecting with proper alignment and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 10 herein before but 15 HP capacity

Opening the LT panel board cubical type for pumpsets located in pump house, cleaning the bus duct chamber, inspect the complete panel, tighten the all incoming and outgoing ACB's/MCCB's/SFU of different capacity nuts, bolts, busbar, insulators and replace with new one if required and heating up for removal of moisture, record it's 1R value with the help of 1.1 KV megger and applying thick coating of Z931 strippex B and Z 955 strippex (SL) of stanac product for preventing from flush over and fire hazard including replacement of 3mm thick gasket, closing of all holes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning including preparation of existing / old treated steel surfaces exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat synthetic enamel paint using spray gun on all machineries /equipments/ filters/motors/ pumps/compressors/ladders /walkovers /pipelines /cable trays /switch boards/panels and any other parts connected to pump house in the permisses of water supply installations with approved colour paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out carefully defective spindle from sluice valve of size 200 mm dia and removing the old gate stud by grinding and making it to a shape by brass welding and turning & polishing,greasing, servicing as per original gate stud and refixing the same at position and testing complete.

Sch 'A' Part II : MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF DSS I & DSS 8

Manning and Operation of Distribution Sub Station (DSS - 1) at KNOFRA little binaga, the main load centre at officer's residential area for 03 (three) shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including routine preventive maintenance / checks, attending emergency breakdowns at Distribution Sub Stations DSS 1, DSS 1A and connected feeder pillars all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

The operator must be competent to carryout the routine maintanence and attending breakdowns all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (i) The contractor shall pay the wages to the electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators (as applicable) through e payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. M & L preparation by cleaning,removing dust etc of existing/ old treated panel board steel surfaces exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat synthetic enamel paint using spray gun all as specified and directed.

M&L for testing of resistence of earthpits of transformer, panels and after testing report will be furnished to Engr-in Charge in standard format approved by Engr-in Charge.

S&F in repair DIN type fuse links type HN HRC fuse 250 Amps, 415 V-12.3 W HN size 1 of make L&T cat No SF-94233 or equivalent in make as specified hereafter complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair DIN type HRC fuse 63 Amps, 415 V-5.7 W HN size 00 of make L&T cat No SF-94027 or equivalent in make as specified hereafter complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs MCCB 4 Pole, 100 Amps, 415 V, Rupturing capacity 36 KA in existing panel and connected to bus bar all as specified and directed. Make:- LEGRAND Cat No. 4200 95 or equivalent in makes as specified herein after complete all as specified and directed.
