The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder should also have a total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed is mentioned as at least one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. A specific value of 358.36 Lacs is mentioned, which is 1/3rd of the estimated cost of the work. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in civil works of similar nature executed and completed in any Government or Semi-Government Department during the last five financial years. The available bid capacity of the bidder will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years. For certain categories, the required prior work experience is 2 years for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering, 3 years for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering, and 3 years for a W/Supervisor and Lab Technician, for works valued up to 5.00 crores.
