Technical Capacity
The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. For works completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the value of road work completed by the bidder shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder should also provide details of other civil works of similar nature executed and completed in any Govt. or Semi Govt. Department during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders.
The required prior work experience includes work experience as prime Contractor (in the same name and style) on construction works of a similar nature and volume during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders, or as Sub-Contractor (in the same name and style) on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years.
The value and percentage of similar works completed are one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work, with a 120% count for works completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. The bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts.
The bidder must provide information on their past work experience, including the project name, description of work, value of contract, contract number, date of issue of work order, stipulated date of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay, if any.
