The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five years at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. For technical personnel, the experience requirements are as follows: - A. Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: 2 years experience for works up to 5.00 crores, and 4 years experience for works above 5.00 crores. - B. Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: 3 years experience for works up to 5.00 crores. - C. W/Supervisor: 3 years experience for works up to 5.00 crores. - D. Lab Technician: 3 years experience for works up to 5.00 crores. The bidder should have prior work experience in civil works of similar nature executed and completed in any Government or Semi-Government Department during the last five financial years. The value and percentage of similar works completed is one-third of the estimated cost of the work, with the value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana counted as 120%. In one instance, the amount of similar work completed is mentioned as 1249.77 Lacs, which is 1/3rd of the estimated cost of the work. Subcontracting is allowed for up to 25% of the Contract Price.
