Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder should also have experience in civil engineering construction work, with a total annual volume of work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. Specifically, the required prior work experience includes: - One similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. - The value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is counted as 120% of the actual value. - Experience in similar nature of works executed and completed in any Government or Semi-Government Department during the last five financial years and the current year. - Total annual volume of work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. Proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price, are allowed. To qualify for a package of contracts, the bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts, with the lead partner meeting not less than 50% of the qualification criteria and each of the remaining partners meeting not less than 25% of all the criteria.
