The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar electric completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar electric completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar electric completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Additionally, for joint venture firms, the lead partner should have experience in erecting, testing, and commissioning electrical works of 33 KV/11 KV substation with at least 40% of the transformation capacity, and each of the other partners should have experience with at least 25% of the transformation capacity. The bidder should also have experience in erecting, testing, and commissioning electrical works of 33 KV / 11 KV in a single turnkey contract in the last 7 years, with at least 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. For example, experience in 200 Kms 132 KV lines and 50 MVA capacity EHT substation will make the bidder eligible for 33/11 KV or 66/11 KV substation part of up-to 100 MVA capacity and lines up-to 400 kms length. In terms of specific values, the bidder's experience should include at least 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. For instance, if the proposed bid includes a sum of KVA ratings of 100 MVA, the bidder should have experience in erecting, testing, and commissioning at least 25 MVA of transformation capacity.
