The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar electric completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar electric completed works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar electric completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The bidder should have experience in erecting, testing, and commissioning electrical works of 33 KV / 11 KV in a single turnkey contract in the last 7 years, with an installation of at least 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. For joint venture firms, the lead partner should have successfully erected, tested, and commissioned electrical works of 33 KV/11 KV substation with at least 40% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. Each of the other partners should have successfully erected, tested, and commissioned electrical works of 33 KV/11 KV with at least 25% of the transformation capacity considered in the proposed bid. The system created must be in satisfactory operation for at least one year as of the date of bid opening. The bidder's experience in higher voltage capacity substation or line will also be considered fit for the above calculation, for example, if a bidder has experience in 200 Kms 132 KV lines and 50 MVA capacity EHT substation, they shall be eligible for 33/11 KV or 66/11 KV substation part of up to 100 MVA capacity and lines up to 400 kms length.
