The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar nature of works during the last 7 years. The experience can be in the form of: - Three completed works of similar nature costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work - Two completed works of similar nature costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work - One completed work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work. The works completed should be in Central Govt/ State Govt/ PSUs, executed through a proper agreement. The value of previously completed works should be enhanced at 5% per year to bring them at par with the present cost. Similar work includes any work of infrastructure related to buildings/structures executed with PEB/LGSF technology. Additionally, for MES contractors, the details of works completed and under progress should be submitted in a specific format, including the value of the work. However, no specific amount or percentage is required for MES contractors. For contractors of one or two classes below the eligible class, the criteria of upgradation based on past experience of completed works and financial soundness should be met, but no specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned.
