The required prior work experience for the bidder includes similar nature of work, with specific details to be provided such as a list of eligible similar works, user work completion certificates, and details of supplies and works carried out. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Similar work means "Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of OFC and/or 'Quad cable'/Telecom cable work including trenching, laying/blowing, jointing of such cables with SDH network and NMS, Railway Control Communication system. OR OEM." Additionally, for subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be sublet, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The required prior work experience can be supported by a work experience certificate issued by a Public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years.
