The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain similar works within the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the requirements are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Separate completed works of minimum required values shall also be considered for fulfillment of technical eligibility criteria for different components. The definition of similar work is given as the construction of any building work. Additionally, for tenders having an advertised value of more than Rs 20 crore, the tenderer's available bid capacity must be equal to or more than the total bid value of the present tender. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Work experience certificates are only considered from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years.
