Supply of G.I. Pipes 100 mm dia medium grade engraved on pipe as per spec. no. IS 1239 (Part 1) 2004 or latest with sockets and fittings. (Jindal, Tata or Asian make)

Installation of fibre distribution management system with all installation materials, restoration wall etc. to original condition, splicing and termination of 2 x 24 fibre cable (With all contractor's materials), routing/dressing fibres as per directions of Engineer in-charge.

Transportation and laying of HDPE pipe as per approved cable route plan in the 3 excavated trench, taking due care while transporting and laying the same in the trenches or other protective works. Both the end of duct should be sealed with end plugs before laying and should remain sealed till blowing is done.

Blowing of OFC through HDPE duct & protective work (elicited in above item) already 4 provided. Where it is not feasible to blow OFC due to curves, road/track crossings, bridges or for any other reason, OFC shall be drawn /laid manually as per standard procedure. All the equipment and machinery required shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Excavation of trench 300mm wide at the bottom and 1.2 mtr deep, in all type of soils including clearing of trees, bushes, etc. and refilling of cable trench by excavated soil and ramming after laying of HDPE DUCT (laying of HDPE/DWC & 6 Quad. cables, PDF cables etc., will be paid under 5 different items of the schedule). Where desired dimensions of trenches could not be achieved proportionate payment will be made as decided by Engineer-in-charge of the Railway at site. The trenching outside the station limits I.e.) between the home signal of station 'A' to home signal of station 'B' may be done manually or by machine, as per the directions of site in charge. In no case the payment will be made for the trench of higher dimensions, than the dimensions as mentioned above.

Excavation of cable trench in rocky area, 450 mm wide at the top, 300 mm at the bottom and minimum 0.5 meter deep in rocky area (Hard rocky soil mixed with boulders/hard murrum) including cleaning of trees, bushes. The trenching will be done manually only and limited to the stretch between the home signal to home signal of each station and other locations as per the directives of the site in charge. Where desired dimensions of trenches could not be not achieved proportionate payment will be made as decided by Engineer-in-charge of the Railway at site. In this case, no payment will be made for trench of higher dimensions than the dimensions as mentioned 6 above. The work shall be carried out as per Drg. No. WCR/TELE/2007/6/Amendment 1. If, in case, depth of 1.2 M could not be achieved and Engineer-in-charge approves the same and then only after his instructions, the following protection work will be done - a) Depth of trench more than 1 Mtr. does not require any protection work and the payment will be made on pro-rate basis (Volumetric) under this item, after laying of HDPE/DWC Pipes, 6 quad. cable, PIJF cables in the trenches (Laying of HPDE/DWC, 6 Quad cable & PDF cable, will be paid under different items of the schedule) and refilling of cable trench by excavated soft, soil, murmur, boulders etc. and ramming over the refilled trench. Care should be taken while refilling the cable trench such that the murrum/boulders etc do not damage the cable.

Provision of cement concrete 1:3:6 [with 40 mm Goaded stone aggregate and curing of the same as per above; CC work is doing be done at the locations approved by Engineer in charge]

Supply & installation of RCC cable route marker engraved and painted on both sides along the route every 50 mt. & route diversions as per Drg 4014/00/CC4.

Construction of brick chamber behind of OFC room 2x2x1m. Item includes arranging of all material required for the same such as bricks, sand, cement etc. Cement and sand should be in ratio of 1:5.

Splicing of laid under above items OFC cable and making the splice joint in dust free 10 environment with contractor's ownequipment and labour. Straight joint enclosure (SJC) is covered under schedule 'A' remaining all required materials, tools, plants shall be arranged by the contractor. splicing shall be started from one end and each splicing shall be monitored after splicing and after closing the enclosure for all the fibres from one central location by contractor's engineer with his own OTDR and optic Talk set with railway engineer,trace for the fibres shall be taken and signed jointly, if any fibred splice shows high loss/lossy event, the same shall be redone before completion of splicing work. The splice loss shall be as per the policy/technical circulars issued by the railways from time to time.

End to end testing of all fibre of the optical fibre cable laid under above items between 11 station/cable huts. All required equipment, tools and plants shall be arranged by the contractor. Five nos. of print out of traces in folders of OFC parameters/ results, The per kilometre link loss shall be as per the policy /technical circulars issued by the railways from time to time.

Manual horizontal auger boring/drilling of 100mm dia Horizontal Bore across the Railway Track/ Across Road at LC gates by Boring method at a depth of 1.65mm from the ground level/ ground level to be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank/road and insertion of HDPE/DWC/GI pipes etc., as per the instructions of Engineer in charge at site.

Horizontal direction drilling/boring without damage of surface road using Auger Machine. The bore shall be 150 mm dia& shall be done at the depth of minimum 1200 mm from the 13 ground level. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road. The length of the bore shall be minimum 4 Mtrs long. this include insertion of different dia DWC pipe/ GI pipes coupling etc. as per direction of Engineer In charge. Note: - Pipe will be supplied by railway. Contactor shall provide all material required for boring and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due thorough handling & pressure on cable.

Fixing & laying of 100 mm dia GI pipes and parapet wall/roof of culverts, including masonry work at both ends with contractors' own material and bending of the pipe at the both ends etc. as per directive of Engineer in-charge, Perforation should be done before laying of GI pipes.

Placing of DWC/RCC pipes along with collars in trenches at places of track and road crossing platform cutting etc.

Supply & installation of RCC pre-fabricated OFC jointing pits size 1m x 1m x 0.6m. The material shall be supplied as per engineer in charge instructions.
