The required prior work experience for the bidder is at least one contract of highway, road, and bridge works, or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed as a prime contractor, or as a member of a joint venture, or as a nominated subcontractor. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract, in the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on the description of work, value of contract, stipulated completion period, actual completion period, and reasons for delay, if any, for the last five years. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed, in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year over the last five years, of the annual value of contract contracts applied for. The bidder should have a total value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years, with specific values mentioned as 20 units (possibly Rs lakhs) for each year from 2016 to 2020.
