The required prior work experience for the bidder is at least one contract of highway, road, and bridge works, or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated subcontractor. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - at least 90 percent completion of works For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of the criteria given, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should have total value of Civil engineering construction Work performed in the last five years. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract contracts applied for. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The description of work, value of contract, period of issue and completion, and actual completion should be provided, along with certificates from the Engineers in charge. The bidder's available bid capacity at the expected time of bidding should be more than the total estimated cost of the works. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the year indicated, taking into account completed as well as works in progress. The bidder should have a minimum experience as specified: - Two graduate Civil Engineers and three diploma Civil Engineers when the cost of the work to be executed is more than Rs 50 lakhs. - One graduate and two Diploma Civil Engineers when the cost of the work to be executed is more than Rs 15 lakhs but less than Rs 50 lakhs. - Minimum one Diploma Civil Engineer when the cost of work is less than Rs 15 lakhs but more than Rs 5 lakhs. - Minimum two Diploma Civil Engineers for the work when the cost of work to be executed is less than Rs 5 lakhs.
