The required prior work experience for the bidder includes achieving a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs 21,04,29,000.00 for in-progress and completed civil engineering construction work in any one year over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of Bridge works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, which is Rs 31,56,43,916.83, within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed. The bidder should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The value and percentage of similar works completed include at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, at least 90 % completion of substantially completed works, and 60% of the quantity of principal items of work. The bidder should have access to or have available liquid assets and/or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract, which is Rs 7,89,11,000.00. The bidder should submit audited balance sheets for the last five years, demonstrating sound financial position and long-term profitability, including an estimated financial projection for the next two years. The bidder should also provide information on their work experience, including details of work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, and quantities of work executed in the last five years.
