The required prior work experience for the bidder includes achieving a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - 90% completion of works The bidder should have prior work experience with a value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria.
