The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of bridge works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90%. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 50 Crore to be eligible for the project, in case of joint ventures with an estimated project cost of 50 Crore and above. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs. 766.87 lacs in any one year, over the last five years, in civil engineering construction works. The bidder's prior work experience should demonstrate their capability to execute the works described in the bid document. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, for each of the last five years, along with a certificate from the engineer-in-charge for each completed work.
