Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes:
- Project Manager: Minimum 15+ Years in similar nature of work
- Quality control engineer: Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar nature of work
- Site Engineer (CIVIL): Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar nature of work
- Civil Supervisor: Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Technical Assistant: Minimum 2+ years of experience in similar nature of work
The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs.12.969 Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years.
The bidder should have experience in successfully completed or substantially completed at least one contract of similar work, specifically a Lift irrigation project/Water supply project, with a value of at least Rs. 5.188 Crore. The substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed.
For substantially completed works, a certificate from the employer is required, stating that the work is at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price.
The contractor should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years.
The bidder should have an undertaking for investment of 25% and should provide a solvency certificate of 20% of the tender amount from a scheduled bank or nationalized bank or a bank approved for government business.
The annual turnover values for the last five years are:
- 2020-2021: 1.61
- 2021-2022: 1.46
- 2022-2023: 1.33
- 2023-2024: 1.21
- 2024-2025: 1.10
- 2025-2026 (Base year): 1.00
The bidder should also have access to or have available liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash in hand, and uncommitted bank guarantees) and/or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied.
