The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in civil engineering constructions, with specific details on the quantity of work performed, such as Cement Concrete, Masonry, Earth Works, and Bituminous Work. The experience should be in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed similar nature of work, such as a water supply project, within the last five financial years, with a value of: - One similar completed work costing not less than Rs. 3,03,30,900/- - Or two similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 1,89,56,812/- - Or three similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 1,51,65,450/- The bidder must have also completed at least 60% of the quantity of principal items of work, such as concrete, earthwork, pipeline, and pumping station, within the last five financial years. Additionally, the bidder must have successfully carried out a minimum quantity of work in any one project during the last five years, including: - Procure, Lowering, Laying, Jointing, Testing, and Commissioning of a minimum length of metallic or non-metallic pipeline. The bidder's annual financial turnover from contract receipts of works, in all classes of civil engineering construction works, should be at least Rs. 189.57 lakh for the last three financial years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of a specified amount for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work (Bituminous Road / Cement Concrete Road) of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. A specific percentage of 20 per cent is mentioned, representing the Employer's additional cost for completing the Works. The bidder should have access to or have available in terms of liquid assets or credit facilities, 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied. The bidder should submit a certificate from the employer, incorporating the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information. The experience certificate should be signed by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer. A valid Bank Solvency Certificate is required, with a value of not less than 20% of the estimated amount for the current calendar year.
