The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. This experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed works with specific details such as project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed, including year, name of the work, name of the employer, quantity of work performed, and remarks. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. They should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed. Regarding the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder's firm would invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years, with substantially completed works being at least 90 percent completed.
