The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor in their own country and other countries, as well as experience in the business of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of works of similar nature. The bidder should have completed O&M works in the last 7 financial years. The bidder must have successfully completed operation and maintenance for a minimum of 1 year for any water supply system or part of its civil or electromechanical components. In terms of financial turnover, the bidder must have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs 4.0 Crores in any three financial years out of the last seven financial years for Scenario-1, or Rs 10 Crores for Scenario-2. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder needs to provide a list of O&M works completed, along with the cost of each work, to demonstrate their experience and capabilities. The cost of material supplied by the Government/Client shall not be taken into account for experience against Turnover & Similar nature of work. The bidder is required to provide details of their experience in O&M work, including the cost of O&M work, brief description of O&M work, and period of completion. The bidder should also submit details of completed work (similar nature) in Form-8. The experience certificate from the client equivalent to not below the rank of Executive Engineer shall be considered, and the experience of sublet works shall not be considered. The turnover of previous years will be given an additional weightage of 10 percent per year to bring them to the current price level.
