The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the cost of the work. - For works with a cost of more than 1000 lac, the bidder should have a Project Manager with a degree in Civil Engineering and 10 years of experience, a Graduate Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience, and another Graduate or Diploma Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience. - For works with a cost between 500 to 1000 lac, the bidder should have a Graduate Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience and another Graduate or Diploma Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience. - For works with a cost between 200 to 500 lac, the bidder should have a Graduate Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience and another Graduate or Diploma Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience. - For works with a cost between 50 to 200 lac, the bidder should have a Graduate Civil Engineer with 2 years of experience. - For works with a cost between 10 to 50 lac, the bidder should have a Graduate or Diploma Civil Engineer with no specified years of experience. The experience can be demonstrated by completing: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of the proposed work; - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 60% of the cost of the proposed work; - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the cost of the proposed work. Running projects where work up to 80% (less mobilization advance) of the total financial value has been satisfactorily completed will be considered under experience. The bidder is required to have an average annual financial turnover on construction works of at least 30% of the cost of the proposed work during the immediate last three consecutive financial years ending 31st March, 2024. The bidder needs to have experience in similar nature of work during the last seven years. The evaluation criteria for experience in similar nature of work is as follows: - 60% marks for minimum eligibility criteria - 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more - In between (i) & (ii) – on pro rata basis The evaluation of experience in similar nature of work carries a maximum of 60 marks. To become eligible for short listing, the bidder must secure at least 60% marks in this attribute and a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual executed value of work at a simple interest rate of 5% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the previous day of the last date of submission for bids.
