Western Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain categories of work(s) during the last 7 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The definition of similar work is any Track Work. In case of multiple L-1 bidders, the tender may be awarded to the tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender. The bidder should have previous experience and financial status, with documents testifying to this experience, including certificates and testimonials regarding contracting experience for the type of job for which the tender is invited, along with a list of works carried out in the past. The tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet.
