The required prior work experience for the bidder includes certificates and testimonials regarding contracting experience for the type of job for which tender is invited, along with a list of works carried out in the past. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to "Substantially Completed Work", which means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The credential certificate in this regard should have been issued not prior to 60 days of the date of invitation of the present tender. Tenders having an advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh do not require technical and financial credentials. The average annual contractual turnover should be at least 'V/N' or 'V', whichever is less, where 'V' is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and 'N' is the number of years prescribed for completion of work.
