Then, the balance value of work to be completed is updated using the Updation Factor, which is:
1.00 for Year 1,
1.05 for Year 2,
1.10 for Year 3,
1.15 for Year 4,
1.20 for Year 5
The updated balance value of work is calculated as:
Updated balance value of work = Construction period as per Agreement/LOA x Balance value of work to be completed x Updation Factor.

Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in civil construction/highway electrical works as a prime contractor, partner in a joint venture, or sub-contractor. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed within the last five years a similar work with specific cost requirements.
The cost requirements are as follows:
- One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, which is equivalent to Rs. 261.47 lacs.

Substantially completed works mean those that are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission.
