The bidder should have completed similar works satisfactorily to be considered eligible. No specific value or percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder's past experience of completed works, individual work experience, and/or average annual turnover are considered for eligibility. For MES enlisted contractors, they shall be enlisted with MES in Class 'A' & above and category 'a(i)' subject to satisfactory remarks regarding performance in respect of works in hand. For contractors not enlisted with MES, they shall meet the enlistment criteria of 'A' class MES contractors & category 'a(i)' contractor with regard to satisfactorily completion of requisite value of works with Central/State Government/Central/State PSUS/ AWHO/ AFNHB/ CGEWHO/ DGMP. No specific amount is mentioned as a requirement for the prior work experience, but the bidder is required to meet the enlistment criteria of 'A' class MES contractors, which may include a specific annual turnover and working capital. Details of three highest valued similar nature of works executed during last five years are required, in a tabular form giving name of work, Accepting Officer's details, date of acceptance of tender and actual date of completion. The table should indicate whether extension was granted or compensation was levied. Annual turnover certificate for last 2 years issued by Chartered Accountant along with relevant pages of audited balance sheets in support thereof is also required. In case an unenlisted contractor is already executing works in MES, he shall not be considered eligible for the subject tender if the total value of such works is more than twice the tendering limit of the MES Class of Contractor for which it is eligible.
