The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering construction, specifically experience in reinforced earth wall with a minimum quantity of 15000 sqm and bituminous works on 2/4/6 lane highways. The experience should be from the last seven years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works during the last seven years, with the following requirements: - Three similar completed works costing not less than Rs.267.29 lakhs each, which is 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs.334.11 lakhs each, which is 50% of the estimated cost. - A single similar work costing not less than Rs.534.58 lakhs, which is 80% of the estimated cost. The bidder should have achieved an average annual financial turnover equal to the amount indicated in the NIT during the last three years, and should have completed at least 90% of the contract value as a prime contractor or nominated/subcontractor. The bidder should have total experience in highways, and relevant experience is also considered. The bidder needs to provide information on the total value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last three years, with a breakdown of the values for each year. The bidder should also provide certificates from the employer (to be given by an officer at the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent) for the completed works, and scanned copies of certificates from a Chartered Accountant for the completed works. The bidder is required to invest a minimum of 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract towards working capital. Additionally, if the quote of the selected bidder is lower than 20% of the estimated project cost, an additional performance security shall be taken, which will be calculated at 20% of the difference between the estimated project cost and the bid price offered by the selected bidder. The bidder should have more than 50% of the total value of items procured and used in the project as 'Local Content', i.e., made or produced in India.
