Fixing of earth electrode including laying and installation of MS flat of size 35 mm x 6 mm with length 5 mtr or as per extant practice of Eastern Railway. As per CSTE/ER'S DRG. NO. SI/TYP/0097 for apparatus cases, signal post & other equipment as per instruction of site engineer. Provision for fixing MS flat at apparatus cases/ signal post/other equipment should be made by the firm 169 at site. Full threaded bolts of 10 mm dia and length 40 mm should be welded in the apparatus cases in such way that the MS flat at apparatus case end can be fixed from outside or from inside. Welding arrangement with accessories and welding materials should be arranged by the contractor for fixing of bolts at equipment end where required as per instruction of site engineer. All hardware and other miscellaneous materials required for installation to be supplied by the contractor except earth electrodes and MS flat. Note:-all materials required to be arranged by the contractor except 2 core cable will be supplied by the railway.

Digging of trench 1.2 Mtrs. deep from rail flange/ road level and 0.3 Mtrs to 0.6 Mtrswide and back filling after placing of DWC/ RCC/GI pipe. (Placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe covered 157 separately). The ballast disturbed be screened and dressed as required by Engineer-in-charge or his representatives and road tarred immediately. For track crossing, RDSO sketch No. SDO/CABLE LAYING/009 or latest and for Road Crossing, RDSO sketch No. SDO/CABLE LAYING/010 or latest are to be followed.

Installation, erection and paying out of tail cable from location box and wiring of shunt signal, LED unit on the same post below the main signal as per technical specification. This includes 91 supply of position light shunt signal unit without lenses, lamps, base, post and without signal transformer as per RDSO DRG NO. SA-23840/ADV/ALT-2. All drawings should be as per latest. Material to be procured from RDSO's approved firm only. Note- Signal unit should be compatible to 'LED' type. (ii) Execution
