The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar civil construction works, which can be demonstrated in two ways: a. Two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender, b. One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the tender. The similar works should be "Project Comprising Civil Constructions works of Assam type ground floor or more above Ground level including Finishing, works, sanitary & plumbing works, Electrical, Fire Fighting work etc. all composite executed under one agreement" and should have been completed in the last 5 years in a Govt./Semi Govt. Department or Autonomous Body. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 60% of the estimated cost put to tender for two similar works, - 80% of the estimated cost of the tender for one similar work. Additionally, the bidder's prior work experience is evaluated based on their performance report of existing/completed works against each work, verified by the Concerned Simaluguri MB. The bidder should submit a completion report or progress report of the requisite volume of work from the Executive Officer/Chairperson, Simaluguri MB concerned, and a statement of similar construction work performed during the last 5 years under any Govt. Department, Assam. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed works under the Central Govt./State Govt. organization/Central Public Sector Undertaking within the country as mentioned during the last 5 years ending the previous day of the last date of submission of tenders. The experience required is of having successfully completed similar civil construction works during the last 5 years. The bidder's average annual turnover for the last 5 years is considered, with a requirement that it should not be less than 50% of the tender value. The bidder is also required to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
