The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature performed as a prime contractor over the last five years. The bidder should have completed a value of similar work that is at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The quantities of work executed as a prime contractor of all main items of work should be provided for the last five years, with a minimum of 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. The bidder should also have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering construction, specifically completing similar works in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work. The required information includes certificates of similar nature of work done and executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, as well as the total value of Civil Engineering construction Work performed in the last 5 years. The values and percentages mentioned include a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value, and the bidder's firm would invest 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the Contract. A minimum of 10% of notified contract value is required for credit facilities.
