The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature performed as a prime contractor over the last five years. The bidder should have completed a similar work with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. The value of similar work should be at least 1/3rd of the contract value, and the annual financial turnover should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor of all main items of work, in the last five years. A certificate of similar nature of work done, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, is required. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge. The bidder should have completed a certain amount of work in the last five years, with specific values required for each year. The bidder should also provide the total value of similar works completed in the last five years. The completion rate of similar work should be not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. Milestones are mentioned, including the completion of 15% of the entire contract work in 25% of the period allowed, 40% of the entire contract work in 50% of the period allowed, 75% of the entire contract work in 75% of the period allowed, and 100% of the entire contract work within the period allowed. The bidder's financial annual turnover for the last five years is also required, with specific values for each year. The total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed is also required, with specific values for each year. The bidder should have evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value, certified by the bankers. The bidder is also required to provide an audited balance sheet for the last five years. Credential certificate for single similar work/quantity executed in a particular year submitted by the bidder from any employer other than Assam Public Works Department shall contain the full name, address, e-mail address, fax no. & mobile no. of the issuing officer and his head of the department shall invariably be furnished along with the certificate for verification from this office / bid evaluation committee during the time of Technical bid evaluation.
