The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Project Manager: B.E. Civil + 5 to 7 Years Exp. - Site Engineer: B.E. Civil + 3 Years Exp. Or Diploma in Civil Engg + 5 years Exp - Plant Engineer: B.E. Mech. + 3 years Exp. Or Dip. Mech. + 7 years Exp. - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil. + 3 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 7 years Exp. - Soil & Material Engineer: B.E. Civil. + 3 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 7 years Exp. The bidder should have completed or substantially completed (not less than 90% of contract value), as a prime contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3rd (one-third) of the estimated value. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated, not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, graduate engineers will be exempted from qualifying conditions of annual financial year, performance of single similar work, and item work experience, but this exemption will not be allowed after the contractor has availed benefit for one or more works with cumulative value of Rs. 5.00 Cr within 3 years from the issue of notification on the relaxation. The bidder's experience in similar works is measured by the value of similar work completed, and the quantity of works completed, which is 40% of the major items of the online bill of quantities. The minimum annual financial turnover amount is 60% of the estimated cost for works up to Rs 200 lakhs and 75% of the estimated cost for works more than Rs 200 lakhs. The bidder's available bid capacity should not be less than a specified amount, and the bidder should have liquid assets or availability of credit facilities of a specified amount. The specified values and percentages mentioned are: - 1/3rd (one-third) of the estimated value - 90% of contract value - 60% of the estimated cost for works up to Rs 200 lakhs - 75% of the estimated cost for works more than Rs 200 lakhs - 40% of the estimated quantity - 10% weightage per year for previous years' work.
