Public Works Roads Department Tender

The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture, with the following requirements: * Satisfactory completion or substantial completion (not less than 90% of contract value) of at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3rd (one-third) of the estimated value mentioned in DNIT. * The similar work should have been completed in the last five years, with a weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring it to the present price level. * The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated in Appendix (not less than 40% of the estimated quantity). Additionally, the bidder should not have abandoned any works under Public Works Roads Department nor should any contract for works under Public Works Roads Department have been rescinded in the last five years. The value of the similar work should be at least 1/3rd of the estimated value mentioned in DNIT, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90%.
