The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Project Manager: 5 to 7 years of experience with a B.E. in Civil engineering. - Site Engineer: 3 years of experience with a B.E. in Civil engineering or 5 years of experience with a Diploma in Civil engineering. - Plant Engineer: 3 years of experience with a B.E. in Mechanical engineering or 7 years of experience with a Diploma in Mechanical engineering. - Quantity Surveyor: 3 years of experience with a B.E. in Civil engineering or 7 years of experience with a Diploma in Civil engineering. - Soil & Material Engineer: 3 years of experience with a B.E. in Civil engineering or 7 years of experience with a Diploma in Civil engineering. The bidder should have executed at least one similar work with a value of not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value up to Rs 200 lakhs and 75% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value more than Rs 200 lakhs. The bidder should have completed or substantially completed (not less than 90% of contract value) at least one similar work. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated (not less than 40% of the estimated quantity). There is a relaxation in qualification criteria for graduate engineers, where they are exempted from qualifying conditions of annual financial year, performance of single similar work, and item work experience, for works with a cumulative value of Rs. 5.00 Cr within 3 years from the issue of notification on the relaxation.
