The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature performed as a prime contractor over the last five years. The bidder should have completed a similar work with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should also have executed quantities of work as specified, with a minimum of 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. The value of similar work is 1/3rd of the contract value. The annual financial turnover is 67% of the DNIT value. The completion rate of similar work should be not less than 90% of the contract value. However, for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria, where the minimum annual financial turnover is 25% of the DNIT. The bidder should submit a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work and the financial annual turnover for the last five years.
